A jovial Salman joked that it was Aamir who had offered him the film first before he chose to do it himself. Addressing the photographers, Salman said, “Isne bulaya tha ye subject dekhne ke liyeus… main chala gaya, mujhe bahut achi lagi picture… maine haan bhi keh di… phir phone aata hai ki, ‘main kar raha hu picture’.”
He teased that Aamir had asked him to come to hear the film’s concept and then broke the news to him (telling him that) he himself would be playing the film’s protagonist.
Razzmatazz in Mumbai at Premiere
A host of Bollywood bigwigs attended the premiere on Thursday. Salman and Aamir were seen chuckling behind the scenes as they posed for the cameras, with Shah Rukh photobombing in to show his support.
Salman’s banter only added to the electric atmosphere of the night, and perhaps proved the camaraderie between the three Khans of Bollywood. And the camaraderie between Salman and Aamir just built up the hype even more for the arrival (the release) of Sitaare Zameen Par.
