Jewel Thief actress Nikita Dutta visited Babulnath Temple in Mumbai recently, seeking blessings at the sacred place. Nikita Dutta last appeared in Netflix’s heist action thriller Jewel Thief alongside Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, the film has impressed both the audience and critics.
On April 28, the actress was spotted at Babulnath Temple in Mumbai to seek divine blessings. Wearing a white floral-printed ethnic ensemble, Nikita looked effortlessly gorgeous as several pictures and videos surfaced on social media. Nikita is seen praying inside the temple in one of the videos.
She is also seen whispering into Nandi’s ear, which is a traditional ritual at Shiva temples. The actress offered flowers as she patiently spent time in the sacred place. The video quickly grabbed fans’ attention on social media, who showered her with love and admiration over the gesture.
During the trailer launch of Jewel Thief, Nikita opened up about her memorable journey with the cast and crew. She stated, “I happened to get a call from Mamta (Anand), saying that we’re making a film like this, would you be keen? When I heard the script for the first time, I was absolutely on board because I tell you honestly, I have been personally really enjoying the genre." She further spoke about her character in the film, saying, “Through the different re-workings of the script, we found the beauty of Farah, who has substance, she is finding her voice and has a whole lot of oomph, which is what I loved.
I’ve realised the kind of films that I really like to watch is something I also want to be a part of." “As someone who has seen a lot of heist movies, I believe that this was an indirect manifestation of the universe because, upon hearing it, I thought, ‘Oh my god, I really want to be a part of this.’ It was inevitable," she added.
