Miss Universe Philippines 2025 delegates/MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES FACEBOOK PHOTO The heat is on as the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant holds its preliminary competition with 67 candidates sashaying in their swimsuits and evening gowns on Monday night, April 28 at 8 p.m..
The preliminaries will take place at the Newport Performing Arts Theater at the Newport World Resorts in Pasay City, and comes within the week of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 coronation on May 2, to be held at the Mall of Asia Arena, also in Pasay City. Reigning Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo, and TV anchor Erika Kristensen-Lee will host the event. During the event, candidates will showcase their grace and poise in walking the runway while in their swimsuits and then evening gowns. Special awards will be given to specific candidates by sponsors at the end of the preliminary competition. On the national pageant’s Facebook page, all 67 ladies were featured in separate reels wearing either black or white swimwear with the beach as backdrop.
At the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines preliminaries, Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon province was the biggest winner, bringing home eight special awards from contest sponsors. The winner of the national pageant will inherit the crown from Chelsea Manalo, and get the chance to represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Bangkok, Thailand on November 21. The prelims competition of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant will coincide with the finale of the 2025 Mister Pilipinas Worldwide contest which will be held on the same evening at 6.
p.m., on the same venue.

All five beauty queens, including Chelsea Manalo, will be the special guests at the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines Charity Gala Night on Wednesday evening, April 30, at Okada Manila, which will be held back-to-back with the national pageant’s national costume presentation.
