The Accountant 2’s Ben Affleck on His 1 Batman Regret

Notably, the two-time Academy Award winner also depicted the iconic Caped Crusader in several other DC Extended Universe (DCEU) projects.

.he was totally too scared to watch it.”Affleck’s son, Fin, was about seven years old when the movie came out.

“So I lost out on that thing of being Batman to my son,” Affleck noted, before recalling a more recent exchange on the subject with Fin, who is now 16, “He’s like, ‘You are Batman, right? At one point, a long time ago.’ I’m like, ‘Don’t worry about it.'”The Accountant 2 actor spoke in detail about what he liked about his version of Batman.

He underscored that even though the Batman in Dawn of Justice has “this very iconic, legendary [public] image,” the reality is that he is “aging and past that prime and has aches and pains.” Affleck noted that their Batman was inspired by Frank Miller’s graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns, adding, “I loved doing it and I loved making it.”In the same interview, Affleck revealed that he “hated” wearing the Batsuit while talking about 2023’s The Flash and weighed in on what made Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) special.
