CM launches assembly archives portal

Chennai: Chief minister M K Stalin on Friday launched a website, tnlasdigital.tn.gov.

in, a repository of the archives of proceedings of the TN legislative assembly from 1952 to 2024. The website was launched in the presence of speaker M Appavu, minister for water resources Duraimurugan, and minister for information technology Palanivel Thiaga Rajan at the secretariat by the chief minister. In the first phase, the documents from 1952 to 2024 were digitised by TN e-governance agency. The website has now made assembly proceedings, proceeding booklets, committee reports, publications, photographs, newspaper clippings, and video clippings accessible. It would benefit members of the legislative assembly, the public and researchers.
