The unprecedented sum, which dwarfs the amounts raised by other recent former presidents, gives Trump a mighty war chest for the 2026 midterm elections — although he is legally barred from running again.
The filings, released Thursday by the Federal Election Commission, illuminate the intensity with which Mr. Trump and his allies have raised money since he re-entered the White House.
His PAC's financial advantage exceeds that of any other Republican-aligned group currently in operation.
Among the top donors are some of the richest names in finance and tech.
Wall Street billionaire Jeffrey Yass provided $16 million, and Ronald Lauder, an heir to a cosmetics fortune, donated $5 million. The tech investor Marc Andreessen donated $3 million.
Elon Musk, CEO of X and Tesla, also recently joined the ranks of funders in politics with a $5 million contribution to the MAGA Inc. group on June 27.
Later that day, he gave an additional $10 million to two super PACs that are focused on helping Republicans maintain control of the House and Senate. But days later, Musk publicly clashed with Trump over a sweeping domestic policy bill, calling it "insane."
Corporate donors stepped in as well. The Texas pipeline titan Energy Transfer and its billionaire executive chairman, Kelcy Warren, jointly contributed $25 million, while UnitedHealthCare donated $5 million.
With $196 million in the bank, MAGA Inc. is now the biggest fundraiser in Republican politics. Already, the PAC is in the field, spending against Republicans such as Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who has bucked Trump on domestic and foreign policy.
This gigantic war chest will give Trump unprecedented influence over go gery contests and legislative agendas in early 2026 as the GOP prepares to defend the House majority.
