Jewish extremists have unleashed a wave of violence on Palestinian villages in the West Bank as part of increased hostility, following the recent murder of an 18-year-old Jewish settler named Yehuda Sherman. Reports indicate that Yehuda Sherman was killed on Saturday when a Palestinian drove into him while riding his quad. Investigators continue to analyze whether this incident was an accident or an act of intentionally trying to kill him.

After Yehuda's death, extremist Jews began making extensive use of WhatsApp groups to coordinate a "revenge campaign" against Palestinians. ISRAELI DEFENSE FORCES (IDF) reported almost 20 attacks overnight committed by extremist Jews against Palestinians throughout the West Bank.

Extremists attacked several Palestinian villages such as Jalud, Qaryut, al-Funduqmiya, and Silat al-Dhah, by burning homes, vehicles, and agricultural fields. This will likely be damaging to most of these people's livelihoods in very difficult economic conditions.

IDF has mobilized large numbers of troops and border police for agency on-duty calls responding to the activities of extremist Israeli civilians setting fires and causing disturbances.

Also, the violence perpetrated by extremists against Palestinians continues to grow since the U.S. and Israel commenced bombing Iran, with six (6) Palestinians dead since March 1 according to the United Nations (UN).

Social media postings of 90 or more individuals dressed in black clothing with many of them covering their faces, appeared to indicate that there was a coordinated attack against the village of Jalud. It was very concerning for the security and stability of the area.
